We are having a special road clearing work day this Saturday and we need YOU,  if you have a chainsaw.  This is a separate work detail, and if you were already planning on helping with the normal work day, please continue to show up as you had planned.  This will start at 9 am as usual at the San Felasco pavilion (entrance off 441 just south of Alachua), and you'll get lunch afterwards, around noon.

What this special crew will be doing is clearing a back road that is in the very back of the park, which we need to open.  Once this is opened we can then start working on the back section of the park for new bike trails for the 2009 building season.  We will also in the future be building two bridges across Blues Creek, and this should be really exciting and a big expansion for us.

Now with that said,  what we need -   2-4 chain saws (BTW: if you haven't been safety trained, you will be by the crew leader before you start to cut).  Safety glasses and long pants are required.  We also need another 2-4 people to help move the cut tree branches.  So if you are free on Saturday, and would like to help us get this section opened up,  PLEASE come.

Also email me, so I can make a head count, and know who to expect.

Thanks in advance.
