Hello all,

 

Please come help or bring a child size bike to the Christmas bike fix-up.   GCC members who would like to help should come to The Kickstand, the community co-op bike shop on Saturday, Dec. 12.  We will be there from 10 a.m. til 3 p.m. The Kickstand is at 622 South Main Street, next to the Rock Gym.

 

Everyone can help,  we need help cleaning bikes and if you have bike mechanic skills, fixing bikes.

 

If you have a pickup truck, you could do a very valuable service by taking recyclable bike parts to the recycler, and/or a load of trash to one of the county dumps.  A visit to the recyler can be an interesting cultural experience. 

 

We can also use a few more bikes.  We need bikes with 20" and 24" wheels (bikes for elementary and middle school kids).  and any bike parts. 

 

The bikes we fix will be given to deserving children by School Resource officers of the Gainesville Police.
