Our first Gainesville Youth MTB League ride got rained out Sunday but we will be at it again this Sunday. I realize 4:30 is not the most reliable time to schedule a ride in August but the time works for guys who work at bike shops. We may adjust it next summer but since the rainy season is coming to a close this summer we'll keel it at 4:30 (at least until the time changes).

This Sunday we will be meeting at the Rock Trail at 4:30. We will warm up and then the kids will be doing a time trial. This is to get them ready for the races that start in 2 weeks as well as let them have some fun competition. The kids 10 and under will do a shorter course and the older kids will do a bit longer course. We will keep the times recorded so that we can do the TT again a few months later and see how they are improving.
