GCC's Hokey Pokey group will ride the "Wild Horse Loop (25 miles)" in
Marion County on Saturday, April 23. Riders should meet at Flemington
Park at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:00 ride start.
This ride is a route marking ride, and the ride leader will be marking
the route with spray paint, which means that the ride leader will be riding
extremely slowly, stopping to paint at all intersections.
The route will be part of the "Ride to Remember," which will be
May 14. Hokey Pokey riders should sign up for the 25 mile
route, Chandler will chaperone the Pokey Posse on this ride,
providing mechanical support.
Everyone is welcome is come on this ride (of course, you must wear a
bike helmet). Don't worry about being slow, no one is slower than me
and we never leave anyone behind.
The ride will be chaperoned by the ride leader who will ride at the
back of the group to make sure no one gets lost. The ride leader
is also a bicycle mechanic who can help fix flat tires and help with any
other mechanical problems.
