Hope everyone is having a happy Monday.

Meet at the Haile Publix, by Keller Williams in the SW corner of the parking lot

Tuesday 8-18
Carlos suggested a slightly longer route, so instead of turning on 170th st, we'll continue on 27 up to Newberry Rd
so it should be about 35 miles (give or take)
20 mph average
Meet at 6pm, roll out at 6:15

Thursday 8-20
since we got rained out last week for the TT what about trying that again? (I'm copying/pasting this info from last week's e-mail so if there's a date I missed, I'm talking about this week)

I'm thinking of doing the Archer TT course. Here's my thoughts - we do either the 9 or 14 mile course, all self timed on your computer. We'll ride out to Archer together, Do the TT, re-group at the Kangaroo & ride back together.

now, let me make a few things clear. This is not a race so the road will be open. It's also self-timed, so if you're at the turn around & there's a car coming towards you or there's a car approaching behind you -- WAIT for the car & simply subtract 10, 20...120 (whatever you feel appropriate) seconds from your time. This is simply a measure of your personal fitness as you'll be able to compare your time this month to next month's and say..."gee, I'm faster". Also, if you don't feel like doing the TT  - find a friend or two (or three) and do a TTT (team time trial).

so...it'll be somewhere around 30 miles
speed: that's up to you - the ride in/out will be at warm up pace
Meet at 6:15, roll at 6:30
go as aero as you want to or prove you're like Eddy by beating everyone there by simply riding faster and not by using that pansy aero gear.

As far as weather cancellations - I am obviously a terrible meteorologist, so Gary, the owner of Alligator Island Optical (which is right next to Publix) will be the one making the call.

See ya tomorrow.
