This coming Saturday we will meet at the Flemington Community Park at 8am for an 8:15am departure through the horse farm country of Marion County. Expect a speed of 16-17 mph with a distance of about 35 miles, with one rest stop.

 

Flemington Community Park is on the west side of Marion County CR 329 one block north of the intersection with CR 318. You can get there from I-75 by taking the Irvine exit (Exit 368) and going west on 318 for about 5 miles, and then turning right (northbound) at the stop sign. From Gainesville, it is easier to get there by taking the Micanopy exit of I-75 (CR 234) and going right (westbound). CR 234 becomes CR 329, and following this southwest for about 6 miles from the interstate will bring you to Flemington. Maps will be provided.
