Or should I say pace line mandatory requirements on group rides, and I apologized for sounding nasty.  If you don't understand the requirements for safe pack riding, then READ "Pace Line Tips" on page 8 again and again til it becomes 2nd nature to your riding behavior.  I am upset because an accident from 3.5 yrs ago cost me almost $4k out of pocket and 4 crown teeth replacement because a rider in front of the pack skirting AND didn't point out the stick which eventually lodged into my front wheel.

This morning, we had 2 separate incidents where riders in front of the pack DID NOT point out hazardous debris on the road.  The 1st incident almost brought Bob down because of a large stick on Millhopper RD.  His bike airborned from hitting the stick.  The 2nd incident flatted 2 riders and damage the wheels of all 3 riders riding behind the lead rider.  I am 1 of the 3 with bent wheels.  Fortunately no one got hurt.

Going south on 441 and turning right onto CR234 to go towards I-75 and CR329, there is/was a large pothole on the inside corner of the turn.  DON'T SKIRT INSIDE THE HOLE AND EXPECT THE RIDERS BEHIND YOU TO SEE IT.  IN FACT, DON'T SKIRT AROUND ANY OBJECT/DEBRIS ON THE ROAD OR POINT OUT IN THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND.  If the debris is only 2-3 inches from the shoulder of the road, GO AROUND THE LEFT SIDE INSTEAD OF BETWEEN THE DEBRIS AND THE SHOULDER.  Use common sense because no one riding behind you expects to ride onto the shoulders to avoid a hazardous debris on the road that they can't see because they RIDE BEHIND YOU.  Ok'ed, enough about safety.  READ the GCC newsletter!!!!
