Hi folks

It's that time again:  time for our next GCC Adopt-A-Road cleanup on Millhopper Road.  This one's scheduled for Sunday, February 28th, 2010 at 3 p.m.   Oh, and we'll eat after we're done doing our part to keep one of our favorite cycling routes looking fabulous.

We need about 9 people for an optimal crew.  Several willing helpers have already signed up via the Club's Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/group.php?gid=52474947811).

Many thanks to those who have already signed up.  You'll be hearing from me in a separate email to confirm your availability.

Here's how it works:

On 02/28, park along NW 136th St north of Millhopper (close to CR 241).  Meet at 3 pm to get organized for a 3:15 pm sharp deployment.  Please don't be late; it's hard to get you supplied and assigned after we have started.   We'll pick up trash along a 2-mile stretch of Millhopper Road, then head to a local eatery (Piesano's at Hunter's Crossing sounds good) after we work up our appetite picking up the trash!
