If your are bike touring, this could be a great resource.
 
While I was on a cross-the-United-States bike ride, we camped at a family's land in Jackson, Louisianna. The couple had several acres and had built a small shower and bathroom building, and provided an area for tent camping on their land.  This host site was unique in that is was large enough for 25 riders to camp.
 
Most hosts can help smaller groups.   It is a great way to make new friends and to make contacts for future bike adventures.
 
If you stay at one of the warmshowers sites, don't forget to "tip" or otherwise compensate your hosts for their hospitality.

It's not what it sounds like - it's not spam.  Two cyclists have created and currently maintain a site of 11,000 members strong - people who host touring cyclists and for people who tour.

Scroll down to the third video to learn more.   Seems pretty damn cool... I'll probably utilize the site one day myself.
