Inviting any Hokey Pokey types to  a mid-week ride on Wed, April 13th at 10am

 

 

Wednesday, April 13th:

 

MEET: At the Chevron station on the corner of NW 43rd St and 53rd Ave.

PARK: In the Chevron station, along NW 43rd St.  

  • Start at the north end and work south.  
  • Do not park in the slots alongside the station or along NW 53rd Ave.  
  • Please watch where you are standing; do not block the flow of traffic going to the pumps.

TIME: Meet at 10 AM

  • Ride briefing and introductions at 10:05.
  • Depart at the conclusion of the briefing. 

THE PLAN:   Ride west on Millhopper to 241, then north on 241 to the BP Station in Alachua for a total of 22 miles.  Anyone wanting a shorter ride, 14 miles, can turn around at the end of Millhopper.  Hokey Pokey/Pedalers pace is 12-13 mph.  I’ll be doing the shorter ride today.
