I just wanted to thank Jim & Meegan Wilson for their kind words of encouragement and for organizing a well run event which was my first foray into the wacky world of brevets. I think my legs and butt will prevent me from doing more than the 200k that we did this morning, but it was fun, and the made to order sandwich stop was a pleasant surprise.
Many thanks to my "compatriots" in pain, GCC Regulars Steve Grosteffon & George S. "Shannon" Woodruff, as well as out of towners Joe Fritz, John Tanner, and Kendall Fredericks for safely guiding me back into Gainesville even though I was on the ropes most of the time.
And a huge kudos to Andrea Tosolini for being the first guy to return to Gainesville, going solo for most of the route, and arriving at the Rush Lake Motel a solid 15 minutes before us!
