In our continuing tradition of cycling and eating,
Strays will ride about 20
miles
on the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail on
Tuesday
evening,
weather
cooperating![]()
, followed
by $2 hamburger / sausage-sub night at Market Street Pub.
Meet at 5:15 PM, at the picnic
tables across from the dirt lot, at the second entrance
(Boulware Waterworks), for a 5:30 pm
departure.
No speed limit, this is a training ride, but mostly
hanging around 12 - 14 mph .
There will be a brief convenience store / rest room stop at
Tim's Fast Nickel, if desired.
For those who don't want to ride, or can't, but want to join us for
the food, we usually make it to MSP between 8 -
8:30 pm.
No pacelines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social
ride.
Helmets are REQUIRED on all
Strays rides, mirrors recommended, headphones
forbidden.

Pub:
From the intersection of University and Main, go south on Main one
block and turn right, Market Street Pub is on the right in two
blocks. If you don't see us out front, be sure and look around
inside, we sometimes find a warm smoke free cubbyhole.
Note:
If the ride runs late because of flats,
cows on the trail, suicide rabbits; armadillos or deer, lights jumping off
at bridges, astronomy stops, MSP not open, ect. the restaurant venue may
change to
