To all HighBees and those that would like to ride with us:

The following is a revision of the ride posted on Wednesday. Due to popular request of some members we are going to ride to Windsor and take our rest stop at the Zucchini Festival. Note that the ride will start at the same time and from the same place as the ride that was posted on Wednesday.

Day: Saturday, May 10^th 

Time: 8:00am meeting, 8:15 departure

Meeting Place: Chevron Station, on the corner of NW 43^rd St and NW 53^rd Ave.

Route and Mileage: We will ride the out NW 53^rd Ave to Waldo Rd, and go to the GHT where we will ride to Angle Rd and turn left to go to Windsor. After a stop at the Zucchini Festival we will ride on to SR 26 and head west to return by NW 39^th Ave and back up to NW 53^rd Ave to the beginning point.

Speed: HighBee rides are typically16-17 MPH average; faster at times and slower on climbs. This is a no drop ride; we re-group at all turns. When there is a large turnout, if there is a group that wishes to go faster than the typical HighBee pace, feel free to break off from the main group at any point as opposed to changing the ride pace to suit the faster riders. This should accommodate the needs of all riders that have been riding with the HighBees.

If you are new to GCC and are looking for a weekly ride with a moderate (16-17 MPH Ave.) and moderate distance (Usually 40-50 miles), please feel free to join us.
