I will not be leading a Lo Bee ride Monday but will be riding with Diann Dimitri’s 30 mile Pedalers ride instead.  If any Lo Bees wish to ride the same route only faster it seems like a good ride.

Hart Springs is 38 miles west of Gainesville.  Go west on Newberry Road (State Road 26), go through Newberry and Trenton. As you go west on SR 26, there will be several signs directing you to Hart Springs.

You can take either County Road 341 north (right turn) or CR 232 north (right turn) and follow the signs to Hart Springs.

The Pedalers will meet at 9am for a 9:15am departure. Expect a distance of  30 miles at a speed of about 11-14mph. We will probably go eastbound from the park until we get to 232, and then go south to the Nature Coast rail trail and ride east to Trenton. This is about 30 miles roundtrip. On the way back, when we get to the intersection with 232, we have an option of returning to the park (the 30 mile option) or going south towards Fanning Springs or beyond on the rail trail.
