Well last Tuesday night “Wonder Wabbit” lead out the Wascally Wabbits by an additional 5 minutes and of course the Mighty WW’s lead out the Hounds of the Baskerville’s by 10 minutes. 

 

The Mighty Wonder Wabbit performed mightily and not only beat the Wascles’s, but actually gained time on the Wascles. (allegedly setting a new course record, yes Wonder Wabbit is truly a legend in his own mind,,,, Sorry Kenny just couldn’t resist).  The only problem is that the Wonder Wabbit rode so hard that he almost blew carrots and has declined to even try to repeat his vast accomplishment VS the Mighty Wascles…

 

Again the Mighty Wascles are throwing down the gauntlet, and will be decimating the Hounds of the Baskervilles (yes the Mighty Wascles are 4-1, we just might let them win one as we do feel so sorry for the poor dogs….NOT)

 

So here is the deal:

The Speedy Wascaly Wabbits will meet at the Chevron Station at 5:45 for the pre ride meeting.  Roll out is at Exactly 5:55PM.  All Safety and Road/GCC rules will be observed. 

Who should come out.  Anyone that wants to ride harder than they thought they could.  Yes you might get dropped.  Last week we averaged 21.96 MPH, but that is half the fun.  IF you start with us.  Please ride the whole course as we will be looking for you if you don’t show up at the end.

 

Also, these rides are designed to TEACH riders that would like to move up, the POLITICS of riding in a fast pace line. Be it a single or a double, or maybe later on a rotating. Here in an informal/friendly setting we can all learn together.  It is suggested that you ride as hard, for as long as you can.  This is a great way to build both endurance and speed.
