With us rolling out now@5:45, dark is almost immediately upon us.  I was out at Bike Works and they have some very nice 900 Lumen Lights for $100.00  You really need good lights to get through the night, as we are running at 2+ hours.  They also have both narrow beam for your helmet as well as the diffused beam for your handle bars.  I recommend having a light on both your helmet and your bars.  See you tonight.

Meet 5:30PM  Rollout: 5:45PM Sunset: 5:38PM ET Avg Low:53°F
Start: Chevron Gas Station, 5221 NW 43rd St/NW 53rd Ave (Millhopper Rd)
Pace: 17-21 mph average (maintain 19 mph) Regroup at all major turns.
Distance: 40+/- miles. Be able to change a flat & ride 20 miles non-stop, store stops are impromptu.
Goal: Make all members stronger. You can stay on the front for strength training & allow weaker members to sit in and gain knowledge of pack dynamics.

Lights: Few to no street lamps, LIGHTS REQUIRED. 500+ lumen suggested.

Florida law requires, headlight must be visible from 500 feet to the front and a red light must be visible from 600 feet to the rear. Additional lighting is recommended.

This is a WOMAN FRIENDLY, NO DROP ride, well you might get dropped but we’ll always pick you back up.
Often there are more women than men on this ride.
