OK, I'm officially firing myself from
weather duties. Gary, the owner of Alligator
Island Optical which is in the Publix Shopping Center will make the call if
a ride needs to be cancelled. Obviously I'm lacking in weather judgement.
And yes, for the record, I was at Publix until 6:30
today. So onto the topic of this
email - Would any of the usual Haile riders be
interested in an early a.m. Saturday ride? I'm usually a big fan of
Jonathan's / Scott's ride, but I have to be home a bit earlier this
weekend, so riding closer to home will fit the
bill. here's my thoughts - Meet at Barnie's coffee
(any ride that starts this early requires at least a double shot of
espresso) on the corner of 75th and Archer
Road. we'll meet at 7:00 roll out at
7:15 we'll most likely go about 50-60 miles, 1
stop, typical sunrise pace (give or take 20mph). Most likely some variation
on long wachahoota / dungarvin, but that's open for
debate. Helmets - yes, iPods - no, ![]()
