Because of the Gator home football game starting at 12:30pm on Saturday, we will meet on Sunday this week. Meet in downtown Micanopy at 9am for a 9:15am start. Note that Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday morning, so this starting time is 2.5 hours after dawn rather than 1.5 hours.

 

Anticipate a 35 mile ride at about 17 mph. Downtown Micanopy is about 9 miles south of Gainesville, and is three blocks west of the intersection of U.S. 441 and eastbound CR 234, at the flashing yellow stoplight. This is about one mile south of the intersection of 441 and westbound CR 234. We will cycle onto the Boardman peninsula and stop at the exotic African wildlife farm at the end of 193^rd St. There will be one rest stop.
