Dear Friends:

The EZ Riders will join the Hokey Pokies this Saturday 25 June, and attempt to traverse part of the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail. We will meet at Witness Tree Junction, the crossing of 2082 and 234 in Rochelle (go East on Hawthorne Road, and turn Right on 2082 and proceed to Witness Tree Junction). Start time will be 8:00 AM, and we will head someplace air-conditioned for lunch after. Riders will choose between riding to the Alachua Lake Overlook and seeing if we can spot some bison or wild horses, or going East to Hawthorne and back. The Hokey Pokies plan to ride South on 234.

The EZ Riders will stay on the paved Trail, and our pace will be slow. We leave no one behind, and the ride is suitable for beginners and families. Bring water, bug juice, sun screen, whatever you want to schlep.
