Hammer Nutrition has supplied us with Heed (High Energy Electrolyte Drink) sports drink for the Festival this year.
We will mix it according to package directions, rather than half strength like we felt we needed to do with Gatorade in the past.
The ingredients are Maltodextrin, Xylitol, Natural Flavor (orange or strawberry), White Stevia, and a list of vitamins and electrolytes. The flavoring is subtle and not too sweet. The main ingredient, maltodextrin, is a complex carbohydrate that will provide steady, consistent energy.
