The Hokey Pokey group invites everyone to join us for a Christmas Morning bike ride. Riders should meet at Boulware Springs at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:15 ride start. Tentative route will be to ride to Newnan's Lake, then along Hawthorne Road and return on the Gainesville/Hawthorne Trail. Depending on group wishes, we can do a different route.

Chandler will be at Boulware to pump up tires and do safety checks on bikes. Some riders may prefer just to ride on the Rail Trail.

Everyone is welcome is come on this ride (of course, you must wear a bike helmet). Don't worry about being slow, no one is slower than me and we never leave anyone behind.

The ride will be chaperoned by the ride leader who will ride at the back of the group to make sure no one gets lost. The ride leader is also a bicycle mechanic who can help fix flat tires and help with any other mechanical problems.
