Hi folks,

These parts are needed to get one or two loaner bikes back into circulation.  For those asking, loaner bikes are road bikes that I used to build en mass for the poorer students in town who would like to induct themselves into the sport without shelling out the big $$ as an entry fee.

This program is not limited to students.  If there are people in need, then I can help them get on the road.  For bike shop owners, this ultimately means more money for you.

The first bike nearest completion has already been loaned out to a TF member for many months - but it now needs some parts.  The second bike I hope to have in my possession should be ready to go from the start.

Either way, I am in need of - very inexpensive (inexpensive does not necessarily = cheap... so your 20 year old racing equip leftovers are just fine!!!):

1) braze-on front derailleur

2) 700c wheelset.

Now listen - it does not matter if the wheelset is from the 90's - all of you know that I rotate the Hipp on wheels from the 90's, so it doesn't matter.  I will take wheels in any condition, but I would rather them be "trueable" or have hub issues that do not go beyond a simple re-pack.  BUT, I will take any wheel... as I can piece together a wheel if necessary.

Front derailleurs are CHEAP!... but that doesn't mean I won't accept a gift from your closet... just as long as it's not a bone... you can leave those for Jayson...
