We are over the 100 rider mark in registrations for the Festival, and we haven’t even sent out the brochure yet! Registration is open on the club web site and at Active.com. (The club member discount is not available when you register through Active.com.) Club members should register by clicking the link in the Members Area on the web site; this will save you some typing. If you are volunteering, WAIT until your volunteer assignment is displayed in the Members Area before registering; the program will automatically recognize your volunteer status and give you your free ride and t-shirt. If you are a volunteer and not riding, you still need to register to pick your volunteer t-shirt.
We are in the early stages of filling our volunteer positions, there are still plenty available. So far, we have filled all positions at several Aid Stops: Millhopper, Watermelon Park, Hague, and Loften. We have a few crew chief positions that are not yet nailed down. Full details on available slots are on the Festival Volunteer page – you can get to this from the Club Information menu or from the Members Area. The best way to volunteer is to choose a position, and then email me with you choice.
The club office will be closed for the next week. No mail will be processed, and response to email will be delayed, though I expect to be able to process some requests. If you call, it will be forwarded long distance to Arizona.
