Pedalers will ride the Micanopy-McIntosh Loop with Orange Lake shore extension for a total of 25 miles. A "smell the flowers" ride thru Doc Hollywood country with visits to the historic Eviston post office, the west shore, gardens and orange groves of Orange Lake, and horse farms. The wildflowers should be starting to bloom. Have had sightings of sandhill cranes and hawks on previous rides.

Meet under the large oaks at the south end of downtown Micanopy at 9:45 for a 10 AM departure. Lunch follows in the shady garden of the Florida Cafe in Micanopy.

A perfect ride for new club members. Helmets required. Mirrors encouraged.
