E-yummy, it's time for cow, sow and fowl.

 

GCC's best picnic is our annual Memorial Day picnic, this year at Little River Springs(north of Branford on US 129).   The picnic is Monday,  May 29,  bike rides begin at 9:00 or so, food begins at noon.   Ride leaders will send out announcements of their group rides.

 

We will be serving Sonny's bar-be-cue, please send an e-mail to Chandler at chanbike@xxxxxxx to indicate whether you want beef, pork or chicken.  We will also have the famous Sonny's beans, which are the best beans in the bar-b-cue world. 

 

Please e-mail me (Chandler) and let me know which flesh you desire and how many people you are bringing.

 

Riders are asked to bring a small side dish such as a salad or desert.

 

Chandler will lead his traditional morbid cemetary ride (it is Memorial Day).

 

Little River Springs is about 45 miles north of Gainesville.  Take US 441 north to High Springs.  At High Springs, go left and take US 27 north, through Fort White and past the south entrance to the Itchetucknee an on to Branford.  In Branford turn right (north) on US 129, go about 3 miles north and turn left onto CR 248,  there are signs leading to the Springs.
