Greetings, cyclists of all
persuasions!
New Cannondale and Scott bikes are coming to Gainesville for the upcoming
Tour
de Felasco 50!
The Cannondale demo truck will be at The Bike Route on Friday, January 13. Then they'll set up shop at Progress Park for the off-road 50 on Saturday, sticking around through Sunday. If you can't make it that weekend, he'll be in Reddick the following weekend as well. Cannondale will be showing off the Tour de France-proven Six13 and CAAD8 bikes, as well as their full carbon Synapse. For the MTBers, they'll have 2005's Mountain Biking Magazine's Bike of the Year, the Prophet, and the World Cup-winning Scalpel. What is the Rush? A radical right wing bombastic bloviator on conservative talk radio? A 50-something Canadian power trio? In this context, it's Cannondale's new do-it-all mountain bike, falling nicely between the full-race, all business Scalpel and their all mountain Prophet. The right tool for the job for events such as TdF. The Scott rep will be setting up at Progress Park on the 14th all day for the TdF50. Come test ride one of the strongest, lightest, smoothest bikes on the market, the CR1. Jake built his 54cm to 14.2 pounds, and it could go lighter still. Come try the new all mountain, all carbon Ransom, named Best Men's Mountain Bike by Bicycling magazine, and the super light, super fast, race-ready Scale carbon hardtails. Bring a picture ID, helmet and pedals, sign a quick waiver, and off you go. Progress Park has a great loop for testing road bikes out of harm's way...and even if you're not registered for TdF, you can still try out their stuff off-road. If you ARE registered, you can even ride the entire event on a demo bike, if you so desire. Feel free to call the Bike Route at 352-374-4550 for further details. We hope you can make it to one of these great events! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from GCCMail, please go to http://gccfla.org/.
