Thanks to all who have volunteered! We’ve filled most of the positions available. We still would like to have one more SAG driver for Sunday (Horse Farm Hundred) and would like to have someone to ride with Dan Perrine in the pace car on Sunday. We could use an Equipment Manager if anyone with managerial experience would like to jump in and help out Gary Greenberg; he’s doing a job we had originally hoped to split between four persons. There are openings to help clean up after the ride on Tuesday and Wednesday; free t-shirt and ride if you can do one of these.
As of tonight, we have 265 riders signed up for the Saturn Santa Fe Century, and 411 for the Horse Farm Hundred and Tours. That’s about 50 more than last year at this date for each ride (100 total), close to a 15% increase.
We placed the order for t-shirts on Wednesday, so it’s too late to order tank tops and long sleeve shirts (sorry to those who sent in orders that arrived today). There should be plenty of regular shirts to handle preregistered riders, and if we planned right, plenty of muscle (no-sleeve) shirts as well.
The deadline for mailing orders is Saturday. If you really want to preregister after that, you can hand deliver your forms to club HQ, but you’ll still need to pay the week of ride rate. If you want to ensure you get a t-shirt, this is something you might want to do; otherwise, you should register on Friday evening or at the ride start. Drop off deadline is Wednesday noon.
