Sunday August 27  Strays will ride 31-32 miles in the Micanopy, Evinston, Boardman, and McIntosh areas..
 
Meet at the Flemington Community Park at 8:15 am for an 8:30 departure. 
 
Ride speed range 5 - 36 mph, varying with terrain.
 
Average speed in recent times has typically been approaching 14 mph,  This ride has a few hills.
 
There will be a convenience store or rest room opportunity about every 10 miles.
 
No pace lines, no wheel sucking, no racing, just a fun social ride.
 
Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides, mirrors recommended, headphones forbidden.
 
Post ride the hungry will head to a local restaurant in the Flemington area for lunch, most likely Rocky's Villa or Blue Highway.

  To get to Flemington Community Park:
 
Travel south on I-75 to the Micanopy exit 374. Follow 234 (Angle Road)  west and south until it becomes 329 in Marion county. Continue on 329. The Flemington park will be on the right shortly before reaching the intersection of 318.  The distance from the exit off I-75 in Micanopy to the Flemington park is approximately 7 miles.
 
The park has restrooms. If the gate is locked, park in the grass outside the gate.
 
Another way:
Follow I-75 to the Irvine exit (Highway 318). Exit going west on 318. Follow 318 for  3.2 miles until the intersection of 329. Turn right on 329 going north. Flemington park will be on your left in a quarter mile.
 
To get to Rocky's Villa from Flemington Community Park:
Take 318 east to 441, turn north (left) on 441, proceed on 441 for about a half mile. Rocky's Villa will be on the right side of the road.
