It starts with brooms, shovels and pick'em-up trucks (or just plain
cars). It starts with a small handful of bikes. It starts at
6pm sharp on *Monday* at the Hippodrome. For all of you planning to ride the hipp, for all of you who ride SR20 & 441, we only need a few volunteers to sweep and shovel all of the gravel and glass from Orange Lake to G'ville, and from G'ville to CR234. Oh, and clearing all major obstacles as well. It won't take long at all, spreading out along the road, if we have enough people A few will be deposited on their bikes with brooms, riding along slowly to sweep up glass, a few will drive along slowly and shovel/sweep away gravel. The largest obstacle will be the large gravel driveway deposit at the top of one of the hills on 441 - we will need to make sure it is tapered, once cleared, so the driver can make it up to his/her home. Please respond if you will join me. Please let me know what tools/vehicles you can bring. Park along 2nd avenue and meet at the hipp at 5:45... we will roll out at 6. It's an off day for most of us anyhow, so there's no excuse... except for maybe the flu, of which I am slowly recovering, so I may not see you A's on the Sunday ride as I had hoped. Ride hard. mk Hotmail is redefining busy with tools for the New Busy. Get more from your inbox. Sign up now.
