Hi, GCC,

I'm planning a 60-65 mile ride Sat. to build endurance for the Horrible Hundred.  Depart about sunrise which will be ~740 am.  Winds later in the day will be WNW 15 mph.  But, I plan to be home by about 11 am.  So, I was thinking of using the 55 mile version of the Santa Fe Century.  From my doorstep to home will be 60 miles.  I'm flexible if anyone is interested...we could just go west past Newberry/HIgh Springs, turn north wherever, then head east and south to get home. I'm not planning any stops for fluid...but may make a nature stop...I'm flexible if someone is with me...we can include a store stop...we need to be home close to 11 am.

My cruising speed will be 18-21 mph.  When we turn to home with the wind it might be 19-22.  If anyone is with me, I'll sure accomodate your speed....unless you plan to grind my legs off at 25 mph.

Let me know if you want to go so we can plan a route and meeting place.

spin the hills...Bob Howland
