All:

As of 7:00 PM today (10 January) NOAA is forecasting a balmy 39 F for 7:00 AM Saturday morning 14 January.  Doubtless it will be several degrees warmer by 9:00 AM, perhaps all the way up to 45.  And maybe 55 or 56 by the time we go to lunch.

I am reluctant to drive that far to be that uncomfortable.  Unless the forecast moderates, I will likely cancel.  Stay tuned.

In any case, I will not publish a general announcement, in deference to the loyal souls putting on the Tour de Felasco.

Hokey Pokies may want to join the EZ Riders this Saturday.  The EZ Riders will travel to the Baldwin Trail this Saturday.  The Baldwin Trail is a paved Rail-Trail (no cars!).

George Edwards will send out an EZ Riders announcement with meeting time and directions to trailhead. He also suggests checking your e-mail for any last minute announcements concerning weather--it may be cold or rainy and the ride might be cancelled.

Chandler will be cooking 40 gallons of chicken soup at the San Felaco event this Saturday, but will return to Hokey Pokiness the following Saturday (Jan. 21) with a ride (and picnic!) at Oleno State Park.

Don't forget GCC's best picnic of the year, the Chilly Chili Cookoff at Oleno(Jan. 21).  Bring your best food offering.  Oleno has fun for the whole family,  a paved bike trail, dirt trails, quiet country roads, hiking trails, a playground for kids and a museum that details the Civilian Conservation Corps.
