On Saturday, we will meet at the Chevron
Station at
NW 43rd St and Millhopper, for a ride of 39 miles (the Persimmon Krishna
Loop),
going west on Millhopper to 27/41, and then across Peggy Road to Alachua
(rest
stop at the BP station), coming back on NW 43rd St.
On Sunday, we will meet in downtown Micanopy
for a
ride of about 35 miles, going south on 234/329 to 320, then west to 135th
Avenue
where we will go south to stop at the exotic animal farm (zebras, etc.) and
then
go east on 193rd St (Dungarvin Road) before stopping in McIntosh (rest stop
at
the McIntosh grocery). We will then go out on the Boardman peninsula and
through
Evinston on the way back to Micanopy via 346. For those who want to add a
few
more miles at the end, extra mileage on 346 is an option.
Speed will be about 16 mph on both
days.
