GCC- there is still room for one or possibly more cyclists on a sagged trip riding the Blue Ridge parkway, one of the most scenic roads in the United States. Saturday september 16 leaving gainesville- returning Sept 22.  We will be staying in Little Switzerland, NC, visiting Mt. Mitchell- the highest point in the eastern United States, and then exploring northward toward grandfather mountain and points beyond. Though we won't be enjoying beautiful fall colors, we will be visiting the parkway in the least crowded time of year.  (short of some parts of winter. Safe riding!
