This week’s ride info:

Day: Saturday, September 26, 2009

Time: 7:30am meeting, 7:45am departure

Meeting Place: Parking lot across the street from Conestoga’s Steakhouse on Main Street in downtown Alachua. 

Route and Mileage: We will do the Union County ride with the change that we will leave from Alachua making the ride 45 miles instead of 55 miles. This looks like it will be a good ride. I think we tried to do this one previously, but for some reason ended up doing a different route. I think it was due to a wrong turn towards the beginning…oops! Let’s see if we can follow the map this time.

Pace: The HighBees ride pace is about 16-17 MPH. This is a friendly, no drop ride; we re-group at all turns when needed.

If you are new to GCC and are looking for a weekly ride with a moderate pace and moderate distance, please feel free to join us.

Membership Requirements: Please note that HighBee rides are open to all GCC members who wish to participate. Those that are non-members may ride with the group as a guest of a sponsoring member once without being required to be a member.
