Still looking for someone to present an ~ 3 hour class on basic bike repair and maintenance to a group

at a local homeless residence.  All solid people who just need not a hand out, but a stepping stone back

into the community.

  C'mon...   Give it up!

Yes! thank you! We need to help people who only have bikes as transportation! As important is to get people who do have alternate transportation on bikes! Any suggestions ya'll?

Kudos to you too Chandler -- and Scott, Diann and Herb! When your bike is your only means of transportation a flat, or any mechanical problem, is a huge obstacle.  You, Diann, Herb and Scott are the best!  Public radio talked about the event, including the bicycle repair station - on the radio this morning.

Thanks again all of you!!

Bike repair at the Homeless Breakfast went well.  We made many bikes safer (fixing brakes) and some bikes actually mobile (tires, wheels, adjusting various bearings).

Thank you to Scott Erker, Diann Dimitri and Herb Kieklak for helping with the repair effort. We worked from 8 a.m. until noon.  Thanks again!
