I dont think I've ever posted to the whole list before but I just have to share this:
I obviously will never begrudge someone for getting a good deal, but a LBS is the best deal you can get. Last week I was doing a hard sprints workout on angle road when I popped a link on my chain. It was still holding but the chain would slip gears everytime it reached the rear cog. I was able to put it in a low gear and take it easy and make it to Chain Reaction at about 6:20 - 20 minutes after they close. I knocked and thankfully someone was there. James stayed there with me and fixed my chain right then and there. He was at work over an hour after close to help out one rider. I doubt the chain even covered the overhead, but i'm a frequent shopper so he did it anyway.
If you can find an online shop that will do that then sign me up.
