These are very good opportunities (unfortunately) to educate young riders of the rules of the road and trails....which is why I leave this sit in my in mail for my 12 year old to read.
I do hope he will be fine and recover well.

I've had a bad habit being lazy at this intersection as it is the least dangerous (paved) intersection on the trail.    She couldn't have been driving very fast.  Remember 2,000 lbs will win over 200 lbs... at any speed.  Oooof.

At 20, he's probably TF... or maybe neither
