What? Gliders Paced Ride of about 80-90 minutes duration. When? Wednesday, March 14th, MEET AT 5:15PM FOR A 5:30PM DEPARTURE Where? N.W. Chevron, route to be determined by group based on conditions (NOTE: SR-235 is closed between 239 and 237) Details: This is the Wednesday Gliders ride. Pace will average at the lower end of a "gliders" pace, no one will be dropped. Note the new time due to the arrival of DST. About The Gliders The Gliders are a group that strives to maintain high training speeds over moderate distances and maintain the integrity of the group. The average speed of our rides generally will fall between 18 and 19.5 mph. We will sometimes have a Power Glider group that will average up to 20.5 mph. You must be capable of holding these speeds for three to four hours in order to stay with the group. On most rides, we stop once at a store. If there are more than 15 riders who will participate in the pace line, please form two groups. For full information about the group, visit our web page. To
