Hey, All,

Is there anyone out there who is thinking about doing either the 60 or 100 mile route of the Rotary Flagler A1A ride on 21 May?  Anyone ever ridden this ride?  It sounds good...but is it?  If it is worthwhile...anyone want a driving/ride partner to defray fuel costs?

Starts at 800 am from Palm Coast HS.  Cost is $25...you can register that morning.  It looks like we could leave about 500 am and be there by 700 am.

Depending on the group speed, I ride at @19-21+ mph so would finish the century in about 5.25 hours with stops and the 60 in just about 3 hours, no stops.  I'm leaning towards the century, but do not mind changing the plan to accomodate a drive/ride partner.

With gas prices as is, I sure would like to ride over with someone...or I can drive.  We have a Honda Odyssey that can haul up to 4 bikes and still get way over 20 mpg.

Interested?  The ride is described on the GCC tour list for May.  Drop me a line here if anyone wants to car pool.  Also, drop a line if you can tell me about the ride.

spin the hills...Bob Howland
