It is my understanding (unverified) that some of the parks operate in the black via user fees.  If so, questions of intent arise.

Florida cyclists will perhaps hope for benign neglect at best from this administration, and may be lucky to get it.

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) this week presented to the Legislature reductions they would make if ordered to reduce their budget by 15%.  Included was closing 53 state parks to public access, one of which is San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park.
