Riders,

This Wednesday, meet 6:00 p.m. Bike Works parking lot Tioga Town Center for 25 miles of Developers and Easy Leopards/Leopards Sub-Epic SuperChase (our shenanigan for the week).

Developers will leave 6:10 p.m., warm up easy for three miles, then teach new and fit riders how to ride paceline, draft, be safe, call out obstacles, etc . . . This is an 18mph no drop ride.  Riders are expected to be able to ride comfortably by themselves at 17mph for one hour, and to stay as close to the group as comfortable while learning to draft.

Easy Leopards and Leopards will have some special long-chase fun this week:

Easy Ls leave at 6:15 p.m., warm up three miles, and chase until they catch the main group, at which time they will ride with the main group.

Leopards will leave 6:20 p.m., warm up three miles, and chase until they catch the main group, at which time they will ride with the group.

The entire group will ride together until 241, where anyone wishing to finish hard will STOP, wait three minutes for the main group to disappear, and SLOWLY RE-ACCELERATE, and be as silly as they like to just before the Tioga Stoplight.

No one may leave one group and go to the other, or ride off the front of the main group for training.  If you do so, you will be asked to sit out the next ride.  This is a safety and teaching issue and is non-negotiable.  If you're really that awesome, just ride with the Leopards!

See you there.

James
