![]() Note: As it is now very dark on our return to Boulware
at
the end of the ride, all riders must have at least a small LED
headlight so
other riders going in the opposite direction can see you. I
recommend a
minimum of 5 watts, or the equivalent in LED power, to see debris on the
trail.
An LED rear flasher is a necessity too........for the trip to
Tim's.
Special Note: This will be the last
evening ride out of Boulware Springs for the year. Next Tuesday we will
begin
riding from the parking lot at Angle Road 234 and the
GHT.
In our continuing tradition of cycling and eating,
Strays
will ride about 20 miles on the Gainesville
Hawthorne
Trail on Tuesday evening Oct 30, followed by $2
hamburger
/ sausage-sub night at Market Street Pub.
Meet at 5:45
PM, at the
Boulware Springs dirt lot, for a 6 pm
departure.
No speed limit, this is a training ride, but mostly
hanging around 12 - 14 mph. There will be a convenience store / rest room stop at Tim's Fast
Nickel after the mid point, if desired.
For those who don't want to ride, or can't, but want to join us for
the
food, we usually make it to MSP at about 7:45-
8:15 pm.
No pacelines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social
ride.
Helmets are REQUIRED on all
Strays
rides, mirrors recommended, headphones
forbidden.
Safety protocols are always observed on Strays
rides
NEW RIDERS must
