"Another question I have: do you know of any good/great sports
medicine docs, chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists?
Getting good relationships with very competent practitioners is key to
maintaining this old body of mine."
There's a group of physicians that Paul Dell belongs to called,
appropriately enough,
University of Florida Physicians which includes the Sports Medicine
Center, Orthopaedic Center, Upper Extremity & Hand Surgery, et
al.
Paul is likely the best there is in his field and the man really cares
about people. IF I ever have to have hand surgery, I'd have him do
it.
Two good chiro practices I'm aware of: Helping Hands and Chaz
McCants, who used to be with HH but now has his own practice near
GHFC's main facility. HH's also has a good rep. but I was Chaz'
patient. Haven't been back in about a year, so that's saying good
things!
When I was having back trouble, I was getting trigger point massage
therapy at HH from Craig Gardner and it hurt like heck (sometimes) but it
felt great when he stopped. ;-)
Seriously, the guy is damn good.
