I propose that the weekend GCC South A Rides be moved back (again)
to campus. I suggest that the TF ride leader(s) be the "red lantern"
for dropped riders if any. Though, GCC A rides are mostly kind to
those fit enough to be on one... with dropping, if any, just before the
rest stop or while headed back home (i.e., when/where people know where
they are going).
I leave this up to the ride leaders of both TF and GCC A. mk Date: Sun, 28 Aug 2011 21:41:36 -0400 From: dsschanze@xxxxxxx To: gccmail@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: GCCMail: Team Florida Weekday Rides (they are back!) On Monday, August 29, we will begin the revitalization of the Team Florida weekday road rides. In the past the rides have been daily, however for now they will be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6pm from Turlington Plaza (just across from Century Tower). The rides will be no drop and (in the beginning) be between 1 and 2 hours. Each ride will be lead by a Team Florida A or B rider who will select a route in advance and who will be able to help with any mechanical problems that may arise. These rides will be a regular MWF occurrence (and if popular enough may be expanded to Tues/Thurs in the future), so even if you can't make it out right away, the ride will still be there :) If you have any questions, feel free to email me!
