A fairly significant line of rain is due to arrive here a little after 9 am.  There will be time to get underway on a ride before it hits (if the projection is correct), but you’ll be in the soup soon after.  Note that I say “you”, as “I” will not be with you, being too old for that type of thing.  Yet another excellent opportunity for those of you training for the brevets to work out the bugs in your wet weather outfit.

Due to the wash out today, I’m planning on a longer ride than first posted for Sunday.  The new plan:

North Rides

MEET: At the Chevron station on the corner of NW 43^rd St and 53^rd Ave.

PARK: In the Chevron station, along NW 43^rd St.

·         Start at the north end and work south.  

·         Do not park in the slots alongside the station or along NW 53^rd Ave.  

·         Please watch where you are standing; do not block the flow of traffic going to the pumps.

TIME: Meet at 9 AM (EST)

·         Ride briefing and introductions at 9:10.

·         Depart at the conclusion of the briefing. 

THE PLAN:   Union County Loop, 55 miles.
