To all HighBees and those that would like to ride with us:

Day: Saturday, November 28^th 

Time: 9:00am meeting, 9:15 departure

Meeting Place: Chevron Station, on the corner of NW 43^rd St and NW 53^rd Ave.

Route and Mileage: We will ride the middle version (45.1 miles) of the Monteocha Rides; going out to Hague, to Monteocha, north to Brooker (rest stop) and south to Lacrosse, then Hague and back to the beginning point.

Speed: HighBee rides are typically16-17 MPH average. This is a no drop ride; we re-group at all turns.

If you are new to GCC and are looking for a weekly ride with a moderate and moderate distance (Usually 40-50 miles), please feel free to join us.

Membership Requirements: Please note that HighBee rides are open to all GCC members who wish to participate. Those that are non-members may ride with the group as a guest of a sponsoring member once without being required to be a member.

Let’s have a good post-Thanksgiving ride and hopefully burn off some of those turkey and stuffing calories and be back in time to see the Gators throttle the Seminoles at 3:30pm. Now that’s a good day!!

A note on the weather. It looks like the overnight low on Friday night is going to be 39, so it will be chili on Saturday morning, but a good bit warmer than that by 9:00am. The high on Saturday is supposed to be 66 so we will probably warm up pretty quickly on the ride.
