A big thanks to all who signed up as volunteers at the Labor Day Picnic. Please check the Festival Volunteer page on the club web site to make sure I got you slotted into the correct position (and didn’t miss you!). Your volunteer position will be displayed in the Volunteer box when you sign in to the Members Area on the web site, which is an easier way for you to check exactly what you are signed up for.
Festival Entry Certificates have been mailed to all club members, and should arrive starting today (Sep 24). I apologize for this being so late this year; my vacation got in the way! The certificate has the club member pricing for each of the events ($5 savings on each), and provides more options for t-shirts than are available to the general public.
If you would like to volunteer for a position, check the Festival Volunteer page to see what is available, and drop me an email with your preferences. I’ll process emails by the date sent in the event two of you are going for one choice position!
We need help in most areas of the event. The biggest needs are of course persons to man the aid stations and persons to drive SAG vehicles. The evening shift at the packet stuffing party is full, but we have openings for the afternoon shift.
If you have some time available and some managerial experience, we need an Equipment Director to help Gary Greenberg as we get ready for the event. All of the work for this job is done before and after the events, so you can ride all you want (no charge!). Email Gary if you can help.
