VetMed Ride to Resume Wednesday, March 14th

With daylight savings time approaching it is time to prepare for resuming the Team VetMed Wednesday evening rides which will roll out at 5:30 pm starting March 14th, the first Wednesday after daylight savings time returns.

New for this year is a rotation of rides, each one starting in a different location. Unlike most GCC rides where the exact location of the start and the route will vary weekly and be announced weekly; here there will be four (possibly expanding on that later in the season) starting locations, each one with a regular ride route. So, the weekly reminder posted will announce the starting location for that week, but the route from there will be constant (or at least until changed, which might happen later in the season…in other words, everything is the same until its changed!) and the ride time will be the same; 5:15 pm we’ll meet and roll out at 5:30 pm.

While we are not going to be giving up the vet school start completely we’ll vary it to avoid the congestion of getting to and from the vet school at that time of day and since most of us that do the ride are coming to the vet school for the ride and we all have to deal with the Archer Rd traffic at the end of the ride. Also, this will add some variety to the weekly ride.
