Hi All,

Ken is spot-on about all of this. I just checked out the course--my teammates at 352 have put together a great cyclocross course that will be really spectator-friendly while also very challenging. And Hoggetowne Ale Works is indeed stepping up to provide beverages. More accurately, Hoggetowne's owner and several local home brewers affiliated with Hoggetowne are donating beer they've crafted. Hoggetowner (and close friend) Chris Hart will be serving up samples on Saturday and will have some home brewing kits to check out as well. Please support Hoggetowne and the brewers who've hand crafted truly fine beer for us--and get your 'cross on! Mountain bikes work just fine--think of your fat tire rig as a gateway drug that will get you moving toward the "hard stuff"--a dedicated 'cross bike--for next season.

Ben

This weekend is "Swamp Cross", a local race put on by the good folks at Team Florida and Bikes & More.  If I were in town, I'd be out there getting covered in mud, so you'll have to do that for me.

Racing is cheap ($15 for beginners!).  Even if you don't have a cross bike, if you have a mountain bike you can play.  And I hear Hoggetowne Ale Works will be providing the refreshments.
