Fellow GCC members,
I've a friend who just moved here from Brazil for graduate school and is
in need of a bicycle. He doesn't have much to spend but needs something
dependable for a 18-20 mile roundtrip commute from Archer Road to the UF
Fisheries Department off Millhopper. He is well aware that a department
store bike will not long withstand such use and given his budget he is
looking in the used market.

Before we make the rounds of the local bike stores that carry used
bikes, I thought I would first check with the GCC membership.

Felipe is about 5' 9" with the slender build of a distance runner. A
road set up might be best, perhaps in the neighborhood of 54 - 56cm. I
don't think he needs to be pushing a big mountain bike all that
distance. If you've got something you think might fit the bill, please
